Since the dreamed trips in front of her grandmother’s trunk, Dorothy has embraced many lives and different continents. Starting in Madrid and then in London where she studies, she attaches herself to Cuba for a long time.She remained close to the sensitivity of this island as well as to the Afro-Cuban culture.
As she travels, the jewels take a place apart.Dorothée makes her weapons at Géraldine Valluet, a Parisian designer, then she opens a shop in the 11th in Paris where she presents her first collection of jewellery.
In 2004, Dorothée set up an agent office in New Delhi. She manufactures fashion accessories for prestigious brands. India also allows her to learn the Kundalini yoga that she teaches today. This philosophy influences the place of sacred jewellery in his creations.
Combined with her desire to undertake, these experiences prompted the designer to launch her own brand in 2017, “Dorothée Sausset” and her first “Holistic Story” collection.
