Myriam AIT AMAR has been trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Cordoba. Now based in the south of France, she created her brand Myriam Aït Amar Ceramics in 2015. The creations she designs and realizes in an artisanal way are made of porcelain. Attracted by the aesthetic concept of Wabi Sabi, or the art of finding beauty in anything whether imperfect, impermanent and incomplete, the object is made in the moment.
The range of objects she proposes covers the culinary art, the decoration but also lights. Each object is unique, it is hand-made, decorated with textures, prints and gold. Myriam AIT AMAR’s creations are inhabited, they are delicate palimpsests that tell you a story and testify to a past that can combine with the present.
